New Dog Portrait – Chihuahua Papi

nina painting dog portrait

Papi was the first dog portrait that I have sold, therefore it will always have a special place in my heart. The client has been a fan of my art for a while, and when she knew that I was offering custom dog portraits, she immediately signed up, transferred me the payment, and got my painting. It is probably one of my favorites. She didn’t give me any instructions of preferences, but let me have creative license to make the most unique and beautiful portrait of her Papi for her.

Jenny

A surprise gift from a dog-lover to another dog-lover! I was lucky enough to be involved in this beautiful friendship! The recipient was overjoyed to receive a surprise painting of his beloved girl Jenny.

My Custom Dog Portraits Poster!

A local pet store (Active Paws in Waltham) featured me on their facebook page and newsletter, and here is the poster I prepared for it. I also have some business cards on the way that features these two paintings in the front, and two other paintings in the back. It’s amazing how generous and willing-to-help people are. Especially dog-lovers! 🙂

New Portrait Painting of Yorkshire

This little one (Yorkshire Terrier) is ready to leave me and begin her journey to Taiwan. I am a little sad to see the painting go, I have spent quite a bit of time with her in the last little while. She’s just so darn cute! I got some good pictures of her and already have some promotional postcards on the way. Safe journey little one! 🙂

Dog Portrait – Ches

Ches was adopted near the same time as Apollo at our local dog park. He’s maybe 4 years old and has a very gentle and sweet disposition. He has the most adorable boxy head and warm orange and red coloring in his hair. The painting looks much better than the photo! I need to practice my photography skills. 🙂

Molly

Delivered this weekend in Vermont, and I got to hang out with her a bunch. It was quite a challenge to turn a black and white photo into a painting, but I really love the way this painting came out.
